The key to developing Organisational Learning skills and knowledge is to engage in open and honest communication. It’s not so much about advocating your views as trying to understand the situation and why other people see it differently. Then it’s about getting everyone involved in working effectively and efficiently towards creating more value. The sub-menu links on the left take you to sources of information sharing which will help fuel deeper understanding.
At an Extraordinary General Meeting held on July 8th, 2009 a number of options for the future of SOL-UK were considered. The EGM was followed by a modest re-structuring that gives renewed emphasis to the role of SOL-UK’s membership as the primary shapers of the Society’s direction and destiny.
One of the outcomes of the EGM was a promise that the Stewards' Group would report back to the membership in October: the SOL-UK Policy and Programme Statment is attached below.
