SALLY BIBB:

'How the digital generation is changing the way organisations work – and learn’

In this fast paced dialogue Sally will explore some of the consequences of current economic turmoil for Generation Y. For those of us who have been living in our own private Shangrila for the past few years, members of this generation became familiar with communications, media, and digital technologies shortly before they learned how to talk!

Sally will explore a range of issues such as:

  • Generational values, attitudes and preferences
  • Generational theory - why and how each generation is different
  • Your attitudes and views (diagnostics/questionnaire)
  • What does research tell us?
  • Implications for the workplace
  • Managing and engaging Gen Y
  • Implications of the downturn
  • What are organisations doing?

The session will combine presentation, Q & A’s with a panel that will involve members of Generation Y, Generation X and the Baby Boomers and open discussion.

Sally Bibb is a business author and consultant combining an unusual blend of organisational development and other talents, which include expertise in the fields of trust and employee engagement.  She is the co-founder of talentsmoothie™, a specialist Generation Y consultancy and founder of Engaging Minds, a communications and engagement consultancy.
