Jemima Gibbons 'Monkeys with Typewriters: myths and realities of social media at work'

This seminar and workshop with Jemima Gibbons will explore how social media (web 2.0) is not only profoundly influencing the way we play but also dictating how we work and innovate.  

Jemima recently completed a one year project interviewing thought leaders in the participative web in order to develop a deep understanding of how new media technologies are influencing the workplace.

These technologies are creating collaborative innovation environments and forcing internal and external transparency, giving individuals and in particular institutions nowhere to hide.  During this evening seminar Jemima will introduce her new book summarising the results of her research and will be signing copies.
